Your overage does seem high. I work for a flooring company. It is not uncommon to provide a higher overage depending on the cut of the rooms or the size of the tile. Between 10-20 % overage. You also have to round up on the footage and that is based on the carton size. The footage charged that you mentions is for what the installers handle. You could have a max of 663 with overage and if the installers handle 730 they want to be paid for it. That price is based on the concept that the overage is used and handled/cut etc. I hope you had your flooring installed by a reputable company.

Ignorant and rude treatment of customers

It took Eastern Lettering in South Hill, VA over 3 weeks to deliver my order of four jersey numbers. That was it, four numbers. To top things off, I only got three of my four ordered numbers that I paid for. I ordered pro style numbers, and I didn't get what they advertised. I did not get Pro style numbers. When I told them by email what I wanted in order to resolve my issue, I was responded to very rudely and unprofessionally, because I said "What will you do?" In addition, was never afforded of the name of the "sales" representative that was responding to my emails. I was just anonymously replied to, with complete disregard of their screw up of my order. Actual email response - Eastern Lettering Wed 11/13/2019 3:01 AM What will we do? Not be spoken to like we are children and submit to your demands. Return the items and we'll exchange them out as our return policy states. Now what will you do? WOW! Is all I have to say here, they do not know how to deal with customers or offer customer service. I wonder how they stay in business? Unprofessional, and ignorant. This is a company that sells cloth lettering. Their refund policy was cut and pasted from another website they found at random, discussing the returns of DVDs, computer Software, Intimates and perishable items. THEY DON'T sell those items. I went to their website and in the search bar I put in 2" embroidered letter C in navy blue. I was sent to a page so I ordered 25 of them. They were cut out letters I could of done with my cricut. I tried to call several times to only get that their mail box was full. So I emailed them. I was told it was my fault I ordered the wrong thing and I was stuck with them. They wouldn't correct the order. I was charged $6.75 for UPS shipping and they sent it in a regular envelope with a forever stamp. When I told them of their *** customer service and wondered how they stayed in business with how they treat people and told them Karma's a *** I received an email back that called me a *** another one that told me I was ridiculous and idiotic. Then 6 weeks later I get my credit card statement and found them charging me again for the same product. When they were contacted by my cc company they just sent in a made up receipt. So I'm still fighting them on fraud. I paid for my mistake of ordering from their company once I sure am not paying twice for *** work, customer service and being called names in their email. AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! SPREAD THE WORD PROTECT YOUR FRIENDS FROM THEM

Ordered letters in October of 2018. They billed me twice, and now have me on an auto bill. I just received yet another charge, January of 2020!. I can't get them to STOP! Today I called their phone number and their mail box if FULL. WTF!

Not only can you not reach this place by phone, but the website is *** too. Nothing works, to include the part that lets you submit an email to them. This would not be a problem if they would answer their *** phones but they don't. Much like a crap basement birdhouse making business, they just cant get to the phone. The answering machine was also full so they haven't even checked that in a long time. Now that I know others had this problem, Ill be taking legal action to get some money back. Total losses $50. *** this place. Don't even try it.

Placed an order with these guys, and I got a confirmed order e-mail and then nothing for 2 months and counting. I can go on the website and track my order and they still show it as open order, but nothing has changed on this in two months and counting. I Tried to call, they don't answer the phone and their mailbox is full. Tried to e-mail and it goes into a black hole of non-response. Terrible, terrible customer service. I am very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, , very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very disappointed with this company. they looked like they had good products to sell. Constant calling because they don't answer and voice mailbox is full. If you are lucky enough to get answer they put you on hold for 20 minutes then you are disconnected. I ordered twice and never got anything. Frustrating.

They charged me for something I did not buy

In February 2018 I ordered 15 glue on letters for $19.67 but $109.67 was charged to my credit card. The next month there were 4 charges on my account: . $106.30, $19.67. $109.67 and another $109.67. Eventually they were credited, but on 6/18/18 I received a notice that $106.30 was being restored to my acct. Enclosed was a vendor copy showing they had charged that amount to my account and delivered something to someone with a similar name. I did not order or authorize that. I emailed the vendor and received no response. I shall present all that info to my credit card issuer along with the statement that there are many similar occurrences and it appears that the whole company is a scam.

I placed an order for letters for an athletic jersey. After three weeks of only getting an email that the stitching had begun, I called to find out the status of my order as this was for a Christmas. I was lied to, repeatedly, that the order had been shipped (that is on the rare occasion that they answered the phone). It is December 18th as I write this and I have received nothing and no refund. I ordered from another company at half the price and excellent service. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. Avoid this company completely!!! I highly recommend Stahls for any lettering /number needs. They were great!

I ordered my letters from the phone and was sent a price for $59.00 and they sent me a email with the correct charge. They gave me a delivery time for two weeks but after the third week I called and he said it had been just shipped. Five days later I received the letters rolled up on like a new rug which made it difficult to apply. when my statement came it showed a charge for $98.00, so I called them up, he said I would have to send them a pictures of my statement, plus a the email of the original $59.00. I sent the statement to them and called the next working day but he rudely said that they were looking into it but it would take 24 hours to resolve. I then said that the product was not prepared correctly because of them being rolled up but he replied, all you have to do is put some heat to them first. I then said that I didn't know this and he said there should have been a flyer to show me that. I asked him to make this right but all he said was we shipped you the correct order in a very rude tone. This company doesn't keep records of there sales to probably avoid paying taxes and ripping off the customer with higher charges that you might overlook , because they didn't have the $59.00 invoice sent to me or the charge of the $98.00 in their records at all. I placed an order for fabric letters and numbers for a single jersey, and received a confirmation. Did not receive a shipping notice. Called and left several messages. Only option because no one answers the phone. Wrote 3 emails before owner Ed Wood finally replied, 21 days after the order had been placed and paid for. Ed promised it would ship following day which never happened. Emailed him several times and asked for his action, but he stopped communicating. Had to notify my bank's fraud department. This company prey on ignorant and naive customer to finance their business. It's apparent that they only ship 1 in 20 orders.
